About Leslie
Practice
Leslie Finnegan is a legal specialist in estate planning, trusts and probate law as certified by the State Bar of California. Her focus is on creating comprehensive estate plans for clients and assisting clients who are dealing with a death, whether that entails a probate, trust administration or small estate transfer. Leslie has over twenty-five years of litigation experience in the civil and probate courts, and her guidance reflects an emphasis on practicality, avoiding family conflict, avoiding litigation and instilling financial responsibility in young family members. She coordinates with financial planners, CPAs and professional fiduciaries to insure the best outcomes for the individuals and families she works with.
Leslie is particularly passionate about helping children, the elderly and the disabled. She specializes in practical planning for incapacity and responding to family emergencies, and she handles probate conservatorships, limited conservatorships and guardianships. She represents and advises family members, friends and professional fiduciaries who assist these vulnerable members of our community.
Leslie is a frequent speaker on estate planning and administration and the care of the cognitively disabled.
