Business/Real Estate Associate Attorney

One of Monterey County’s leading AV rated law firms seeks a business and real estate attorney, preferably with at least 3 years of relevant legal experience, including corporate governance, entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, real property transactions, contract review and negotiations, and general corporate law. The candidate must have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and must have excellent academic credentials and be an active member of the State Bar of California. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional organizational, verbal, writing, analytical and interpersonal skills and have an upbeat, team-focused approach to their law practice. Experience working independently with clients and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships is preferred. We offer a high-level practice and collegial atmosphere with competitive salary and benefits, and our billable hours requirements are reasonable. The position will primarily be based in our Salinas office.

Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney

Noland, Hamerly, Etienne & Hoss has an opening for an experienced trusts and estates attorney. The position is part of our growing estate planning, conservatorship, litigation and trust/estate administration practice. Responsibilities include drafting estate plans, administering trusts, probates, conservatorships, and related matters. Experience working in a collaborative environment with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities is encouraged. We offer a high-level practice and a collegial atmosphere with competitive salary, billable hour requirements, and benefits. The position is based in our Salinas office. Position is full-time, in person. Pay $100,000 to $225,000 per year, depending on experience.

Senior Paralegal – Trusts & Estates

Monterey County’s leading AV rated law firm seeks Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Trusts & Estates law. An ideal candidate must have strong organizational and writing skills; must also possess strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. This position would provide support to attorneys in the Trusts & Estates practice group.

Must be familiar with legal format Court rules and procedures; E-filing and E-service programs; Case preparation, file management; Microsoft Outlook, Word and Timekeeping software; Lexis Nexis or similar database search.
