Attorneys Chiara Veronesi and Stacey Cheatham Wilson teamed up for an informative session with approximately 60 members of the Carmel Foundation on January 22. With “To Trust or Not to Trust,” they explored comparisons of various estate planning vehicles, such as wills and trusts. Participants learned about the duties and responsibilities of successor trustees, the most beneficial traits to consider in choosing one, and the potential benefits of nominating professional fiduciaries as successor trustees. Both attorneys are focused on Estate Planning in their practices; Ms. Veronesi at the NHEH Monterey office, and Ms. Cheatham Wilson at our Salinas location. Also in attendance were attorneys Leslie Finnegan, Charles Des Roches, and Yvonne Ascher.
